On 15th July 2019, Everchem had the opportunity to attend and be apart of the 9th International Planters Conference 2019 in Royal Chulan, Kuala Lumpur. The conference was held between 15th to 17th July 2019 by The Incorporated Society of Planters. Some of the sponsors include MPOC, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, BASF and New Holland Agriculture
The theme of the conference is ‘The Plantation Industry: Charting the Future-Transforming People, Policies, and Processes”. It was officiated by the Duly Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzaun Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibubudin Shah Al Maghfur-Lah.
IT was also to grace the ISP Centenary Coffee Table Book being the oldest registered professional body in the country and its contributions to the nation.
More than 800 participants and exhibition visitors around the world are targeted to be reached at this conference. In view of the challenges of the rapidly changing plantation business landscapes, conferences like this are to bring together information, knowledge sharing and the technologies that are able to overcome all the challenges by the industry from some of the renowned experts.
40 booths are set through the two-day conference to explore new labor-saving machinery, state-of-the-art equipment, and products related to the plantation industry.
Other than booths setup, the paper publication is also involved in this conference, not to mention best poster award, dinners and post-conference tour to the Carey Island, Selangor at the end of the conference on 17 July 2019

Representatives from Everchem had the privilege to attend the Argus NPK and Added Value Fertilizers Asia on 26th June to 28th June 2019 in Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. More than 50 companies attended the conference to exchange information within the Asia region on the fertilizer market trends.
The conference is a target to add value within the fertilizer market trends and looks at industry opportunities for meeting the changing agronomic needs in Southeast Asia. It provides the information to the attendees relating to an overview of specialty fertilizers in the region, fertilizer supply vs. nutrient demand dynamics in southeast Asia, an overview of agronomic needs in South East Asia, their key crops and their requirements, fertilizer quality assessments and how they can be improved, latest developments in granulation of NPK fertilizers and nutrient management for small-hold farming and many more.
The conference is a great platform for different businesses to meet each other and to network. It also allowed us at Everchem to generate business leads. This sort of conference has always been a place where the latest development of NPK fertilizers and nutrient management for small-hold farming and many more being showcased.
There were many talks and presentations available to visitors at Argus NPK and Added Value Fertilizers Asia 2019. Platforms like Argus NPK and Added Value Fertilizers Asia are something that we at Everchem support and will continue to participate in. It helps us to open doors for business co-operations and future projects for a win-win situation. It also allows us to access ideas on how we can improve ourselves to serve our customers better but supplying and producing the best type of fertilizer according to the market and situational demand.
