Meeting with ECER & SEDA at Putrajaya
On June 3th 2022, Everchem and it’s representative have meeting with East Coast Economic Region (ECER) and Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA). The discussion is to get information & understanding in Feed in Tariff (FiT) for renewable energy.
SEDA Malaysia is a statutory body formed under the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Act 2011 [Act 726]. The key role of SEDA is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011 [Act 725].
SEDA Mission
- Ensure sustainable energy plays an important role in the nation’s economic development and environment conservation;
- Ensure existing sustainable energy programmes are managed prudently and efficiently;
- Continuously assess new potential sustainable energy solutions in partnership with our domestic and international stakeholders to diversify and complement the existing portfolio of our existing sustainable energy programmes; and
- Advocate the public towards accepting responsibility in a paradigm shift towards living sustainably.
